FAQs
Q: Do I have to submit contact info to attend the plant sale?
A. Not at all! The more the merrier! BUT! If you do let us know you're coming we can send you reminders as well as notify you of up and coming Blue Heron Headwaters events.
Q: What if the weather is bad?
A. Our event is rain or shine! The plants love the rain, bring an umbrella and a tote or box for your take homes. (We'll also have tents set up. )
Q. Why Plant Native?
A. Native plants support wildlife and help reduce water runoff, pollution and pesticide use. Native plants are typically better adapted to local conditions, making them easier to grow and more likely to survive. Fall is generally considered the best time of year to plant native trees, shrubs, grasses, vines, and perennials.
